Indications:
Simlup contains the active ingredient Simvastatin (10mg / 20mg) is used to treat high cholesterol. The medication lowers the high levels of cholesterol (hypercholesterolaemia) and triglycerides in blood to reduce the risk of heart diseases. Simlup blocks cholesterol that is produced in liver only. A low-fat diet is recommended when taking Simlup, because the medication does not block cholesterol that comes from the fat in food.
Cholesterol level can be kept low while you are taking Simlup. However, if you stop taking the medication, the cholesterol level may rise again.
